For Christmas this year Dan's brother Russ had us in the rotation. He recently got married to a photographer (how lucky are we?)-- her name is Selena-- and she graduated from NAU with a degree in photography and works for a studio in SLC.
SOOOO Guess what we got for Christmas- a free photo shoot and a bizillion hours of editing. I was screaming and Dan was rolling his eyes!!! Despite the complaints from the men in our fam (as Dacie enjoys hamming it up on the camera)--I believe when they see these picts. they will be glad they braved the wind and chill (abnormal for PHX)!!
Selena captured us as I have always envisioned our family. And, sometimes I am in awe at when this family grew! Thanks for the sweetest and priceless gift!
We took these pictures at a park in Phoenix, by Dan's home. I thought it was pretty appropriate--since that very park was the first place I went too (even before Dan's house) the VERY first time I flew in to visit Dan. It is amazing to me to see how we have grown (in more ways than one) since then!
I am sure I will post a trilllion more pictures after we get the CD--after all her hard work of editing I am afraid I will not have any favorites!! and want all of them blown up and framed--

It's amazing how much better pictures people take when they are professional. I always like to think I'm pretty good, but I'm blown away. She's wonderful! You all look so beautiful. My favorite family picture is #3, the one of y'all on the bridge in front of the palms.
What an awesome gift, and she is an amazing photographer!!! I'll have to say I can't decide which I like best . . . they are all really good!!! Good luck choosing the ones you want blown up and hung in your house . . . tough decision!!

Those pictures are perfect!! I love how she captured your family. You can see their personality's in each picture. My favorite family picture is the one of you guys standing in front of the barn door. What an amazing Christmas gift!

Wonderful pictures. . . but the main reason they are so nice is not because of the photographer (though she is great I'm sure) it is because all of you are so fabulous looking and definitely not needing any camera magic to make you that way. It must just be natural. :)
Way cute, Alicia! I love them all. I really like Ryland's. He is a looker! It is hard to choose a favorite. I think the family one I like is the one in front of the barn doors in color. They are all good though! Love em!

Wow. You guys look good! As for the familly pics I like the first one, second one, third, fourth, fifth and sixth one! My three faves are the first one, the one on the bridge, and the last one....kind of in that order too. Happy family day. What a cool sister in law. I like her style. much love
I LOVE all the pics and they definitely show all of your kids personalities!!! I especially love family pic with you all looking at each other!! It is adorable!! I can't wait to get a family and take cute family pics!! Or maybe I should just suck it up and take my own pics all by myself!!! Hehehe!! I really want glamore shots and I definitely need them since the pic on mom and dad's wall is from when I was a sophomore at BYU. OOPS!! And yes I know soldier boy is a bad song. i debated putting it on, but my rythm sense won out!!
