Its OFFICIAL!!!

OK OK...it is NOW OFFICIAL- We are expecting our 5th Binka (our nickname for the unborn goobers) on March 19, 2010 (Ryland's 5th Birthday)
This is OLD NEWS for many of you AND
is certainly NOT as creative as all the other kids announcements have been
~
I usually get pretty creative with announcing the impending arrivals of our new ones...but through complications this one slipped out a whole lot earlier. So rather then the ultrasound wrapped in a grandparents picture frame for x-mas (colton), or Colton wearing a big brother in training t-shirt in a professional picture tucked in an Easter Egg (sterling), or getting Hershey candy bars wrapped in a "HERE SHEHE IS" wrapper (ryland), or a picture of our back car people stickers w/ a baby added on the back (dacie)...this little binka got...
"Your going to the doctors again, are you pregnant?" "Why can't you babysit, help someone move, or go play basketball, are you pregnant?" "Why are you sick again, are you pregnant?" to which I had to meekly reply a "yes" and our kids got drift off these conversations, and the word spread, so the counters went on facebook and my blog.
SOOO there has never been an official announcement for Binka #5
SO here it is:
WE ARE HAVING A BABY!
(10 week ultrasound of Binka #5-at this point it looks like a penguin as it has "stumps" or flippers in this picture)
I typically wait to tell people that I am pregnant until after my 12 week appointment~ because if you get past this point your percentages of miscarriage go down, and I usually have an ultrasound by this point. The baby seems a little more stable, for sure, and "real" around then-
So today was my 12 week 4 day appointment and ultrasound--- all is well!
WE ARE HAVING A BABY!
~
However I have felt like I have been pregnant FOREVER. At the beginning I was in the drs. about every week for appointments, and an ultrasound. This pregnancy has been touch-and-go. When I first found out I was pregnant it was a "weak" line. It took a good week or so to start registering pretty strong. Having just miscarried in January I was super leery. Then while we were on vacation in Utah I started to spot. Typically I have never spotted later, unless I miscarried (as it has happened 2), soo I have been petrified. After some blood work they found my progesterone levels were extremely low as well. SO I have been on medications where some have to be compounded at the pharmacy, and I have to drive an hour to get them. Its all good~
Things have tapered out, sickness is farther in between (yes, I have had morning sickness) and I have started experiencing insomnia (which is opposite to the total exhaustion). Dacie and the kids pray for the baby almost daily and ask for it "not to die". It is tender.
(Binka #5 at 12 plus weeks, measuring in a week early...like all my kids do! It is face down in this picture to the left..you can see its spine!)
We ARE excited for the impending arrival. We have not felt as if our family is done-so we are excited for this! This is the largest break we have had in our children. It was planned, it was getting to the point where we needed to do this, or be done. I feel like my body is ALLOT older, but it is pulling through for the team. I am allot more tired, and feel a real need for my presence in so many other places besides this pregnancy. Particularly satisfying the children's different phases they are in. It seems they are all hitting milestones and need my physical presence and teaching. Our house is growing smaller by the minute, AND although I KNOW others (including myself) has lived in smaller, with more people-- If I have the choice, I would choose more breathing room! So the house is on the market. With that, the sickness, our callings, the kids, our jobs, it is no wonder that I am finally losing weight during a pregnancy rather than gaining (I am also the heaviest I have ever started-so I have room to work with)
However, we are happy thinking of baby breathe and throwing names around while we wait...patiently!!!
Welcome to OrGaNiZeD CHaoS little one!!!
