(please excuse all the "devil eyes" in the pictures)Sterling L-O-V-E-S school. I cannot tell you the number of times he has told me that he would rather be there then at home (that can be a little disheartening to hear as a mom).
BUT he THRIVES on schedules, calendars, reading and learning
BUT
what you might not know is he LOVES music too!
He ALWAYS follows the choir teachers directions precisely and stands with his arms straight to his sides, does the movements to the song with exactness. It is quite humurous and touching to see how serious he takes his assignments from school.
He also has a GREAT memory and when given a speaking part he memorizes quickly. In fact, they switched his part to a much larger one the day before the performances, because he could "handle" it and get it done.
Just because he loves it does not mean he does NOT get NERVOUS (above) nor does it mean he runs away from the microphone always on his last word!
BUT WE {HEART} his enthusiasm and faces
We have so many things he could be in this world...maybe music will be one of them
He is now begging us for piano lessons!
SING ON little MAN, SING ON!
