(Colton walking around for the costume parade, we lost Theodore for a majority of the parade to game booths, so their costume theme was not quite as effective)
Since Halloween was on a Sunday this year.
Our stake put together a FALL FESTIVAL
A BUSY ONE AT THAT!
(Woody winning his loot for the adult costume contest!)
They had dinner of soup and rolls, cookie decorating, pumpkin bowling, a johnny jump, throwing ghost into the haunted house, basketball hoop making, candy table....
and it was STANDING ROOM ONLY!!!
(now if we could all these people go to church our stake would ROCK!)

(Rhett was NOT having a good time, way past his bedtime! So daddy willingly went home early-crowds are not his thing)
AFTERWARDS we went out to the parking lot for some trunk or treating
Thank Heavens for Aunts so we could divide and conquer

They also had a CRAZY hayride going on attached to a four wheeler, driven by the stake president. Poor Colotn jumped on last second and got tipped on a curve, he was drug for quite sometime while his brothers were in histarics screaming. They finally heard the kids and stopped. Colton had the WORST road rash I have ever seen on his hand. I forgot to take a picture of it, because I was busy scrubbing out the tar darn-it! you would have thought his hand had fallen off, BUT our bodies are wonderful things and do heal!

Poor Colton! I hadn't heard that he was hurt. I am glad he is healing though. The boys' costumes turned out sooo cute! (I was wondering Colton and Ryland's hair was looking brownish.) And I love the sppok burger idea, but maybe not the barf potatoes.
