*I was not kidding when I said I was playing "catch up"- ha ha
Easter arrived quickly after Rhett joined our family!
We were blessed to have Grandma and Grandpa Hutchings in town during this holiday.
Aunt Amberlyn and Cara & John joined in the festivities as well.
They all made sure my kids did not miss out on a thing!
I am so grateful! The Saturday before Easter Sunday they busted out the kites between general conference sessions, and flew a few in the field next to our house!
It was a great day for flying and we got them all up!
It wouldn't be spring without some kite flying!
That evening was the traditional egg dying while the men went to the priesthood session
Mommy even made one for Rhett that the Easter bunny hid right on the front porch mat!
The kids also had a great time making birds nests during the day with the company, and then giving some away to the neighbors (after eating a few!)
Easter Morning Dawned!
..and Grandpa Hutchings treated us to some yummy
bunny pancakes!the Easter bunny had arrived!
and even left a cool note behind
He did not miss one person...even Grandma and Grandpa Hutchings got goody bags!
An Easter Egg hunt ensued
with each kids eggs in their respective places...
and a skunk did not get to one! (as they seem to always find a few before us!)
The rest of the day was spent...lounging in pj's and eating candy
