So Dan's Mom's side of the family has not held a reunion in a LONG time (like 15 years or something like that) SO some of his cousins and Aunts stepped up to the plate and organized one in beautiful Park City
Dan and I had not been to Park City since the night he had proposed to me in 2000

and it did not let us down!
The placed we stayed at was WONDERFUL--it was some very nice condos called the miners club
It was MUCH too quick of a trip for all that driving (arriving Saturday and leaving Monday eve)
We certainly enjoyed all the amenities the place provided
Games were a BIG hit on Sunday
We ate outdoors for most meals--the weather was warm BUT certainly allot cooler than AZ!
OF COURSE...SKITS were in Order
AND because I KNEW that Dan's family probably would NEVER all get together to do one...we had the grand kids dress up and have a "dance off" to Alvin and the Chipmunks (except for Sterling who sang Mr. Golden Sun)The other families did not let us down-
The Rawsons above should look familiar to my brother (Elder HUTCH) on a mission! Dan's Uncle actually is a stake president in one of the areas my brother was recently in and he got to meet him!
All the great grand kids got together to show off their belly buttons to a button song!
Spending time with Dan's immediate family was fun too!

Aunt Kerri pretty much had the girly cousins taken care of.
We SWAM!!!!
(and even got Grandma in the pool!)
See. I was there!!!
Can you tell most of us wear swim shirts most the summer?-WHITIES!
The Gals got to hang on the kiddie rides w/ Aunt Amy...while mom and dad took the bigger boys on the slide and coaster!
IF you look closely you can see Ryland on his way up to his death, or so he thought, heading up to the top of the Alpine Slide with daddy as the driver!
He said he had sparks once and was on 2 wheels at one point
Here comes daddy and Ryland down the hill-they would have been the winners IF they did not have a guy in front of them who came to a complete stop to pick up glasses that someone had dropped!
Sterling and I went down the newer coaster together--different from this (so no pictures, as I am the pict. taker) We only pulled the brakes once when I was sure we were going over the side!!!
We were sure tired by the end of the day...shuttle service is always nice!
This is a place where Dan and I started our life together it is ironic that my ring is lost/stolen here as well. We are still hoping and looking for it (as some family members were SMART--and stayed the full week). I guess I can feel comforted knowing it is back to its beginnings (so sad!)
Happy Reunion Vacation SUMMER!!!!
