So Dan's brilliant idea for Family Home Evenings was to let everyone in the family share one of their personal hobbies with each other. We had to find something that was of interest to us and share/explain it to the family, and then we would all participate in it afterwards.We have: Watched Formula one racing on TV and played BINGO to match the newly learned terminology, played a game of bowling on the Wii, drawn comics, gone fishing, eaten ice cream...and it was Dacie's turn a couple of weeks ago!
She chose dressing up and dancing... AND I knew it would be a perfect photo opportunity

Costume changes were a must during the Dora the Explorer music
light sabers, jump ropes, and scarves were some of the accessories
Dad quickly volunteered to hold Rhett--so he could skip out on the dancing I presume.
Costume changes got a little rough
AND so did the dancing
BUT we sure did have FUN and I will always have blackmail pictures! ha ha

seriosuly i wish we lived closer. lola and dacie could play all day. kerri said that if she and marci drive up to utah maybe they would bring dacie and she could stay and play with us. we could find LOTS of things for them to do!!
Fun!! I think we will steal this idea for FHE in our family. I would love to see what everyone comes up with!! I want to know what you and Dan's costumes were though.
