WILL SOMEONE PLEASE POKE ME (us) in the EYE!!!!?
This sweet, angelic, 4-year-old child of ours
decided our van needed a new paint job
AND took some of this (sand paper) and sanded down the back side of our van!!!What was he thinking?...we ask ourselves that same question--Isn't he old enough to realize that when the paint is getting scratched to stop? ..you would think!

AND YES--HE IS THE SAME kid who...
Re-upholsterd this EXACT same " new off the lot" car with permanent marker
AND dry-shaved with his dad's razor in the back seat of that same van
AND re-painted the side of the house, drive way, basketball hoop, and garage with barn-red exterior paint
AND hung himself on his bunk bed ladder
AND has climbed this, and ANYTHING else dangerous in the house 
AND did this the whole first year of his life
Come to think of it-Don't poke me in the eye GIVE me a few more...I need a few extra sets to WATCH HIM!!!!
Good thing I LOVE that kid and that he is so darn CUTE! AAARGH!

oh my goodness. i am laughing but feel totally frustrated for you! if you guys wanna get it fixed while you're up here in utah marcus could probably get you a pretty good deal.

I really mean it . . . there is something about those March 19th babies. Taylor is JUST like Ryland. It's like she's in her own world and all of the make-good-choices talks and what to do and what not to do's just don't make it inside that brain of hers because those aren't part of the rules for her world. She's is barely starting to ask about how to know what's right and wrong, but we are still having difficulty with her making that choice. She tends to act way before any kind of thought comes in to play. I promise I'll pass along any helps if I have any, and I'd love any suggestions if you got any. They are definitely lucky we love them!
you have got to be kidding! Oh my goodness, I cannot imagine! My sweet husband learned to draw the 5 pointed star when he was three and he proudly too a rock and drew them all over his parents new car! I keep saying, I don't know what we'll do when we get the kid who is "just like his dad".

I am quickly learning (with OUR first boy) how different boys are than girls . . . from the get go! With 1 yr. old Ashton, it is lightbulbs. He will search in cupboards, drawers, nooks and crannies until he finds lightbulbs. And THEN he bangs them on the wood floor, breaking them into a hundred million pieces. Seriously. Where did that come from?
I better hold on tight. I think I'm in for a ride.
Oh, Ryland. Someday, you will be all grown up, and your Mom will wish she had her little 4-year-old back, shenanigans and all.
This aside, I will not be parking my van at your house when you are home, buddy. No offense.

Wow. . . sounds as if your son belongs with my brood. Have you seen my recent post about my bald daughter? :) Thanks to one of my sons who used Darin's drill, Sarah now has a huge bald spot. Lovely children.
Hilair...umm I guess that I can say that not having one...but uh if I had an extra set of eyes I would give them to you for sure. These are gonna be some grand stories in the later years. love you
Oh my goodness I have one of those! Thank heavens only one! Brigham took a sharpie marker and drew a picture on the headrest of my brand new yukon, look mom its a picture of you!!! Then he took a screwdriver and carved into his brand new pottery barn dresser that took me sooo long to save for!!! Now I have his brothers to help me keep an eye on him!
hahaha!! Looks like you've got a busy body over there for sure. "Good thing they're cute." is what we always say when our babies cause havoc. Ryland definitely has the cute factor on his side...good thing huh?! =)
I've been working on a similar type post for my little girls who are in TONS of trouble lately. They thrive on it. Every time I get ready to publish it they do something else & I need to take a pic to add..haha! =)
