So I use to believe that I would be one of those mom's that was able to get myself dressed and presentable by the time I had to be somewhere where someone had to see me. That was before I had kids that went to school in the mornings AND before I made the rule that I could not get dressed for the day until I had exercised! To no avail I think every person in cottonwood has seen my cute pajamas. aaaH! Laundry, mopping floors, making lunches, feeding and dressing my kids, cleaning bathrooms, entertaining friends and visiting teachers, answering phones for my part-time job seem to creep up on me and then Dan is home! My sweet husband said that he would raise our children in pajamas too, if he did not have to go anywhere that day . Problem being is I DO go somewhere every day. I guess I can look at the bright side, that I am not wearing one of my mom's famous mu mu's a.k.a the house dress (I love you mom!) and I guess I could compete in a cute pajama contest if I had to. Gotta see the good in it all, huh? ha ha. Speaking of raising children, sweet Dacie is FINALLY starting to be a bit mobile! I have worried and talked with our pediatrician about how I feel like she is behind in milestones compared to her brothers, but I am reassured that girls are a bit slower physically than boys (I guess) and that she looks great! She just has a mind of her own. HOWEVER with her late blooming mobility (rolling to get places and sitting up from laying position) I am not used to her getting places. So when Colton got home from school and left the front door and screen open, I did not notice that Dacie was rolling her way over to it. The next thing I heard was some loud crying and I came around the corner to legs sticking up in the air and a face planted Dacie out our front door step on the bricks. We have no stairs in our home and she managed to find the only form of stairs we have! Thus the 'beauty mark' (scab) on her forehead. We are making her tough already! It is getting harder to get her to smile for the camera as well. She use to be a ham! Hope that changes before her one year photos! ha ha
Guess whose eyes she got? (Daddy!)
